Have Some Fun With Our Comedy
Audiobooks!
How's your sense of humor lately? Is it in need of a good tune-up? If so, you need to take a look at some of our
dry, droll, witty, amusing, or drop-dead hysterical comedy audiobooks.
Why, you ask? (Maybe you weren't asking that at all, but I'm going to tell you anyway.) Scientific studies have
proven that laughter stimulates the production and release of the natural chemical serotonin in the brain,
eliciting pleasure and dulling pain. This should be of tremendous benefit to anyone who has just been run over by a
truck. If you haven't been run over by a truck or even a field mouse, you still might want to check out our comedy
audiobooks - just to be prepared, lest something like that should befall you.
Seriously, however, we do have an excellent collection of comedy audiobooks, none of which were written by me.
Fans of stiff-upper-lip humor might like to check out P.G. Wodehouse's All About Jeeves. Quintessentially British,
quintessentially Wodehouse, and funny to the max.
David Timson's 1000 Years of Laughter covers humor in literature from the middle ages to the present day. It's
fascinating to see how some of the things we find funny have changed over the centuries, and others haven't changed
at all.
And finally, download David Sedaris' Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. Don't ask why. Just do it. You
won't be sorry.
Our great collection of comedy audiobooks will have your serotonin levels up in no time!
